Call for Abstracts: 2026 CCTS Spring Conference

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 1, 2025) — The UK Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) is accepting abstracts for oral and poster presentations at its 2026 Spring Conference, which will be held Tuesday, March 31 at the Central Bank Center in Lexington, Ky.

The annual CCTS Spring Conference, now in its 21st year, brings together more than 1,000 researchers, clinicians, staff, students, and community members to share research and foster collaborations. It is a pillar event for the CCTS, whose mission is to accelerate discoveries that improve health. Attendance is free.

The theme of the 2026 CCTS Spring Conference is "Artificial Intelligence: Bridging Clinical Care, Innovation, Research, and Technology.”

In addition to abstracts related to the conference theme, the CCTS calls for abstracts on clinical and translational science and research, as well as abstracts for the following college- and unit-specific Research Days that will be held at the conference:

  • College of Dentistry
  • College of Education
  • College of Engineering-Biomedical Engineering
  • College of Health Sciences
  • College of Medicine
  • College of Nursing
  • College of Public Health
  • Department of Internal Medicine
  • Institute for Biomedical Informatics

Abstracts do not need to align with the conference theme.

The deadline to submit is Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026 at 5 p.m. EST.
