The Community Engagement & Research program is supported by a central office at UK, a Community Champions Cabinet, and Rural Research Hub at UK St. Claire (Morehead, KY). The Rural Research Hub is located in Appalachian Kentucky and is staffed with a clinical faculty liaison and a research study coordinator. 

Services include: 

• Study coordination support from UK St. Claire (in Morehead, Ky.).

• Research consultation on community engaged grant applications, project implementation, and/or research dissemination;

• Identification of collaborative partnerships with community organizations, practice-based research networks;

• Identification of collaborative opportunities within the Appalachian Translational Research Network and the Consortium of Rural States (CORES).

• Connection to the CCTS Community Champions Cabinet, which includes stakeholders from healthcare, public health, education and private sectors, and local communities who provide an invaluable interface between the CCTS Community Engagement and Research Core and rural communities.
