The focus of the CCTS and College of Medicine's Institutional TL1 Physician Scientist Postdoctoral Career Development Program is to grow, retain and recruit promising clinician scientists to the University of Kentucky.  The program will target promising scholars who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing academic careers at the University of Kentucky in clinical/translational priority areas for UK HealthCare. The program will provide resources needed at the resident/fellow level for clinicians to participate in intensive research and career development training required to launch a successful and sustainable research career in translational research.  Resources and support provided are identical to those provided to the NIH funded TL1 postdoctoral scholars.
