Researchers at the University of Kentucky are conducting a research study to investigate a potential treatment for patients in the early stages of Parkinson’s disease (PD) or Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). The study lasts about 18 months, and participants will receive compensation for their time. 

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝟒𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝟕𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝:

  • were diagnosed with PD or MSA more than 2 years ago
  • are able to have an MRI scan
  • have never had brain surgery
  • do not have major medical or mental health conditions
