The Center for Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Kentucky is soliciting applications for travel awards from Substance Use Disorder involved trainees and learners to support attendance and presentation at important SUD-related scientific and professional conferences during 2022-2023. The purpose of this call is to support meritorious travel award applications that involve translational SUD research, to promote and support the “bench to bedside to community” goal of the National Institutes of Health and National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS). It is anticipated that travel funds up to $1,500 per awardee will be available.
Applicants will be required to submit their conference abstract and a letter of request showing the need for travel funding. Candidate meetings that are important in the SUD space will be prioritized, for example, SFN, CPDD, APA, SRNT, AHSR, and ICRS.
