The East Palestine Train Derailment Health Research Program is led by the University of Kentucky in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh and Yale University.

Pioneering research on DBS+, an investigative treatment for Parkinson's disease, was initially supported by a pilot grant from the UK Center from Clinical and Translational Science. 

This year's conference will be held March 31, 2026 at the Central Bank Center in Lexington.
