Letter of Support

Requests for letters of general support should be submitted at least one week prior to the proposal submission date.

Requests for letters of support that include a specific financial, space or other material resource commitments from the CCTS should be submitted at least 15 days prior to the proposal submission date.

Please take into account periods of University closure when meeting these deadlines.


 » Process for Requests:

All requests for letters of support should be submitted through the CCTS Service Request Form by the Principal Investigator, or appropriate study team personnel, per the deadlines noted above.


General CCTS Support Letters

Upload a Word document draft of the letter, in compliance with the sponsor guidelines, to the CCTS Service Request Form. The CCTS may revise the submitted draft. Incomplete letters will be returned for correction and resubmission.

Through the Service Request Form, include the following information:

  • Sponsor Name
  • Brief description of the project with hyperlink to the RFA (attach RFA/FOA if not available electronically)
  • Final sponsor deadline
  • Any special requirements
  • Point of Contact Information (one individual)


Letters Committing CCTS Resources

In addition to the requirements outlined above, please identify the specific CCTS services and resources you are requesting by checking the relevant boxes in Service Request Form. 


CCTS Response:

The signed letter will be returned to the Point of Contact by email. 

The CCTS reserves the right to not provide a letter of support.
