Researchers at the University of Kentucky are conducting a study to explore early signals in the development of- or advancement of- Alzheimer’s disease among older Black adults. By examining genes, daily life, environment, and brain health, researchers will determine how these early signals might impact memory and thinking. Participants will attend two sessions and complete one assessment for the study. All sessions will take place in the Healthy Kentucky Research Building (HKRB) at the University of Kentucky.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • are 50 years of age or older
  • live in Kentucky
  • understand English
  • identify as Black or African American

Participants will receive compensation for their time.
