Applications open for K12 Career Development Program

The CCTS K12 Career Development Program is a multidisciplinary research training and funding opportunity for early career faculty. The K12 assists in developing a translational science research program through individualized career development training, including structured coursework, experiential learning, mentored research, multidisciplinary teamwork and leadership training. The goal of the K12 program is to help awardees ultimately obtain an individual career development award (i.e. K) or an independent investigator (i.e. R01) award.

Applications are due Wednesday, Oct. 7 by 5 p.m.

The CCTS will host two virtual informational sessions for those interested in applying.

New! Clinical Research Essentials

Clinical Research Essentials is a redesigned training program for early-career clinical research professionals. This blended course combines pre-work, a 1.5-day interactive workshop, and online modules to build foundational knowledge and practical skills.

Mentor Development: In-Person Trainings and Online Resources

Studies of academic career development invariably identify mentoring experiences as among the most important factors for success. To support mentorship and career development, the CCTS  offers both in-person Mentor Training Workshops and online mentoring resources. We also provide support for identifying potential mentors, upon request.

The next in-person mentor training cohort will be held on three dates in November. Space is capped at 25 participants so please register as soon as possible.
