All investigational drugs are stored in a secured pharmacy area with restricted access and locked when necessary in accordance with local and national laws and regulations.
All investigational products are segregated from non-study inventories and are maintained in separate, clearly-labeled bins. All refrigerators, freezers, and other temperature-controlled storage devices that contain investigational drugs are contained within the IDS pharmacy. The IDS is able to support secure, monitored, temperature controlled storage for temperatures from -80°C to room temperature. The refrigerators and freezers used for storing investigational drugs are plugged into receptacles with emergency back-up power.
