A Research Study for Adult Women with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Purpose of the Study: To investigate whether exercise may improve certain cognitive abilities in women with PTSD.

About the Research Study:

• Volunteers can earn up to $200 for participating

• Participants will be asked to exercise for one session

• Volunteers will meet with research staff for a screening visit and three separate task visits

• Research visits take place at the Center for Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Kentucky

• Total time commitment is approximately 9 hours over 4 visits

You may be eligible to participate if you: 

• Are females between the ages of 21-50

• Have experienced physical or sexual abuse

• Experience significant symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

• No current serious medical disorders
