Are you a Pregnant Woman Who Currently Smokes?

Researchers at the University of Kentucky invite you to take part in a research study for pregnant women who currently smoke. The purpose of this research study is to learn about the effects of different levels of nicotine in cigarettes. Interested participants will be required to make 16 weekly visits (1 to 4 hours each) to the study site. Flexible scheduling is available. This study is NOT a quit smoking program. It is for smokers who are not interested in quitting. Participants will be compensated up to $2,346 upon completion of the study. 

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • are between the ages of 21-44 years old
  • are currently pregnant
  • can read, write, and speak English
  • currently smoke cigarettes with no interest in quitting
  • have less than an Associate's degree
