The goal of the CCTS Training, Education And Mentoring (TEAM) group is to provide the education and training foundation for the academic discipline of clinical and translational science. TEAM supports a vertically-integrated competency-based curriculum for health-based professionals featuring:
- Clinical & Translational Research Methodologies.
- Leadership.
- Communication (Oral & Written) .
- Teamwork skills delivered in multiple formats using adult learning strategies & distance based educational technologies.
This program is integrated with existing health-related graduate programs at UK to provide health-based professionals with access to resources and training opportunities across broad range of scientific disciplines, and students & faculty in health-related graduate programs with access to clinical environments, health professionals, and clinical and translational training opportunities.
