CTSA Key Functions
The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) operationalizes the functionality necessary to support the growth and development of clinical and translational science at UK through nine key functions.
These key functions are defined by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in their request for applications for the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA), first released in October 2005. For purposes of efficiency and utility, each key function has been assigned a number within UK's CCTS.
