For Investigators
The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) at the University of Kentucky has consolidated existing services and programs and launched new and transformative services and programs for the conduct of clinical and translational science.
These include integration of UK's General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) and the UK Clinical Research Organization (UKCRO) into a new Clinical Research Development and Operations Center (CRDOC), and launching a new Center for Biomedical Informatics and the Office of Research and Engagement for Advancing Community Health (REACH).
New education and training programs have been initiated by the Training, Education and Mentoring (TEAM) group, and new organizational units put in place to support and enhance development of additional key functionality necessary to transform the university’s clinical and translational science activities.
The CCTS Concierge Program provides the "front door" to CCTS, to guide UK and community-based investigators to CCTS services and support resources, including patient-oriented cores and translational technology resources.
