Clinical and Translational Science 2008 Spring Conference

The CTS spring conference has two primary objectives:
1) Enhance the training and career development of our students and faculty who are involved in clinical and translational research;
2) Promote the translational and collaborative clinical research activities at the University of Kentucky
.

This scientific-based conference is highly recommended for both mentors and trainees/scholars who are participating in clinical and translational research. William Lanier, MD will lead the morning workshop discussing how to write a paper that will be successfully accepted for publication. Robert Grubbs, PhD, 2005 Chemistry Nobel Laureate will provide the Keynote lunch talk about his career development, current translational research, and Nobel Prize experiences. Research conducted by scholars and faculty will be presented orally or in posters; all presenters will receive oral and written feedback from senior faculty on presentation content and format.
