Following is a list of some of the services provided by the Clinical Operations unit:

Administer survey/questionnaires, screening patients for inclusion, assist with examinations, chart review.

Assist with bedside procedures, including conscious sedation.
|
|
Conduct patient education.
|
|
Conduct pharmacokinetic studies.
|
|
Coordinate inpatient and outpatient studies.
|
|
Disperse or administer investigational medications and study agents, including chemotherapy and inoculations.
|
|
Implementation of phase I, II, III and IV clinical trials, grant funded protocols or investigator initiated trials.
|
|
Obtain, process and ship lab specimens (DOT/IATA certified).
|
|
Perform physiological measurements such as vital signs, EKG and cardiac monitoring.
|
|
Perform tests, monitor responses to interventions, and collect research data.
|
|
Provide adverse events surveillance, attend site visits, develop study and source documents, complete source and case report forms, and maintain regulatory documents.
|
|
Provide nursing care to adult and pediatric subjects.
|
