Clinical Operations

The Clinical Operations unit comprises a research staff that is specially trained to make complex research observations, and accurate patient assessments and documentation, to utilize precision in the collection and processing of specimens for research purposes, and to implement exemplary safe patient care practices.

This unit is available to conduct research procedures for investigators throughout the institution or, under certain conditions, outside the institution. The inpatient unit is located on the fifth floor of the Chandler Medical Center and the outpatient unit is located on the second floor of the Kentucky Clinic.

A receptionist is located at each unit to facilitate easy scheduling and offering assistance to investigators, study coordinators, hospital staff and CRDOC personnel.
