Stephen W. Wyatt, DMD, MPH

Stephen W. Wyatt, DMD, MPH, associate director, Center for Clinical and Translational Science, is the inaugural dean of the College of Public Health and professor of preventive medicine and environmental health.

Dr. Wyatt's expertise involves prior roles as associate director for cancer prevention and control in UK's Markey Cancer Center, and as a commissioned officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where he led the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control.

Dr. Wyatt has an extensive research career focusing on cancer prevention and control research supported by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). He has served on cancer center advisory boards at NCI-designated cancer centers, and as a member of the Board of Governors of the Council on Education for Public Health, the national accrediting body for public health.
