Arnold J. Stromberg, PhD

Arnold J. Stromberg, PhD co-director, Biomedical Informatics, is professor and chair, Department of Statistics, College of Arts and Sciences. His expertise is in distributed computation and data analysis using supercomputers, and his theoretical and applied background in outlier identification is useful for scanning data for anomalies. Dr. Stromberg directs data analysis for the UK Microarray Core Facility. As part of Ky-INBRE, he provides statistical expertise with DNA microarray data analysis and continues to develop innovative methods of statistical analysis for microarray data. His paper on pooling microarray data is among the ten most downloaded papers in BMC Bioinformatics.
