Andrea L. Pfeifle, PhD

Andrea L. (Milam) Pfeifle, PhD, co-director, Tracking and Evaluation, is assistant professor and director of medical education in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Dr. Pfeifle provides oversight and coordination of predoctoral and residency education, assessment, and evaluation activities and faculty development for the department on Lexington, Morehead, and Hazard campuses. Dr. Pfeifle also currently serves as director of interprofessional education for the six health sciences colleges at the University of Kentucky. Her areas of expertise include instructional and curriculum design, educational administration, and program evaluation. She actively consults with new and established public health, physical therapy, physical therapist assistant, and medical education programs pursuing or renewing accreditation in the U.S. and internationally, including Tashkent Medical Institute in Uzbekistan, the Romanian Institutes of Public Health and Health Services Management, and the USAID American International Health Alliance.
