Regulatory Support Liaison
The BRIC Regulatory Support Liaison provides direct support to five regional CCTS sites housed at the UK Centers for Rural Health in Danville, Hazard, Madisonville, Morehead, and Murray.
Training is available to Regulatory Support Regional Study Coordinators and other community-based CCTS staff on the regulatory requirements necessary to maintain current good clinical practice and Institutional Review Board-compliant systems.

Community-based CCTS staff certifications in responsible conduct of research.

Obtaining Federal Wide Assurance (FWA) or other federal assurance from the Health and Human Services Office for Human Research Protections (see Related Links).

Assistance in obtaining or coordinating IRB review.

|
Assistance with off-site issues and IRB regulations.
|
|
Assistance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and research.

|
