Policies
All requests are prioritized by the Director of BDRE, who will assign the request to the appropriate BDRE key function personnel. Investigators are strongly encouraged to submit requests at least four weeks prior to the date needed, and preference will be given to investigators who do so.
BDRE will not handle all requests. Depending upon the nature and focus of the request, BDRE may refer the investigator to another resource on campus (for example, The Cancer Center or the SSTARS Center). Also, BDRE is unlikely to support the following requests:
Routine IRB and regulatory affairs requests (please consult the Bioethics and Research Integrity Committee).
Thesis research outside of the CCTS graduate certificate and master of science programs.
Course homework or special class projects.
Data analyses for abstracts or manuscripts outside of CCTS-sponsored projects.
